At Playcation Minis, play is more than fun- it is a pathway to wonder, growth and connection. We design immersive, play-based adventures for children aged 3–8, where imagination takes centre stage and every session sparks curiosity.
Each of our two-hour sessions is designed to bring adventure in every play, creating memories that last forever and giving children the chance to truly experience the wonder. While children explore, parents enjoy a well‑deserved break- especially during the holidays.
Our calendar is filled with themed weeks- from Pirate Adventures to Under the Sea and Journey into Space- each one crafted to transport children into new worlds of discovery. Alongside these, our signature themed days bring rhythm and excitement to every week: Messy Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Workshop Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday, and Faith‑Filled Friday.
Beyond our weekly sessions, we also bring the Playcation Minis magic to parties and community events, creating unforgettable experiences where children can explore, celebrate and connect through play.
Playcation Minis is rooted in community spirit. Together, we fundraise for meaningful causes, teaching children the joy of giving and the purpose of charity through hands‑on activities and active play.
Every session is a chance for children to:
Because here, play meets wonder!
Hi! I’m Ammaarah, proud twin mama to my Twincesses! Life has thrown many challenges my way, but one thing has always lifted me up- children. Their innocence, purity and the way they light up simply because you are present for them has given me purpose and fulfilment.
For over 10 years, I’ve worked in primary schools and led a nursery and I’m now on my journey to becoming a teacher while working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. My passion has always been creating spaces where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn through play.
Playcation Minis began at home, when my twins’ love of company turned our everyday activities into something bigger. Soon, family and friends from our community joined in and what started as small play sessions grew into something more meaningful. Playcation became about giving as much as playing. Together, we’ve raised meals for children in Gaza, supported emergency aid for families in Morocco, created food parcels for refugees in Blackburn with Darwen, and hosted exclusive sessions for refugee and asylum‑seeking families.
Our sessions, usually held during the school holidays, give children a chance to explore, create, and connect- while giving parents a well‑deserved break. Every activity is designed to spark joy, build confidence and teach children the values of kindness, generosity and community.
For me, Playcation Minis is more than a project. It’s a way to turn challenges into hope, to transform play into purpose, and to show children that they can make a difference in the world- one small act at a time.
