This session was a beautiful example of how compassion begins at home. Children from our own community came together to pack food parcels with love, care, and creativity — adding sweet cones, handmade lotions, lip balms, and heartfelt messages.
The initiative was generously supported by Benefit Mankind, who helped facilitate the session and empower children to take part in meaningful giving. These parcels were later distributed by The Connect Hub UK to over 15 refugee and asylum-seeking families during our joint event, One Ummah, One Family.
Through hands-on learning and purposeful play, children discovered the power of empathy and action. They didn’t just hear about hardship — they responded to it, with sincerity and joy.
